180901 An event causing the withdrawal of a person from the mine or part of the mine

Inspector Marlborough contacted at 21:06 pm, Six (6) hours after the incident occurred.

Again the lack of detail

  1. Where exactly in the Mine has TARP 007 (Spontaneous Combustion?), been exceeded
  2. What was the actual TARP that got exceeded?
  3. What has been the situation regarding the TARP value and trends?
  4. What action has the Mine taken to address the hazard and bring it under control?
  5. What if any effect is evident from any actions taken
  6. Have workers returned Underground?

Inspector Marlborough attends the Mine on the 3rd of September, two days later.

In his Record Book Entry is the following statement.

Mr Romanski stated that Underground power had been shut off as per Inspector Marlborough’s recommendation.

Is the power recommended to be turned off by Inspector Marlborough due to there being no Statutory Inspections able to be done because the TARP 007 has been in Level 4 for the last 24 hours.

Due to the TARP 007 Level 4 activation triggered an orderly withdrawal of all persons from the underground commencing at 15:25 and completed by 17:00.

 All personnel were safely withdrawn from the mine and accounted for. Multiple updates given to each shift at least three times per shift.
