Grosvenor Spontaneous Combustion Scenario. Heating is “As cunning as a fox what’s been Professor of Cunning at Oxford University, but has moved on an now works at UN at the International High Commission for Cunning Planning”

This week we seem to led down the path that a small intense spontaneous combustion event that no one detected prior to the event suddenly flares to over the ignition temperature of methane from around 150C to over 540C in seconds.

More this heating is within metres of the back of the longwall chocks in the immediate area of around 100 chock

Then just as quickly it cools down and disappears from view.

Nothing burning at all.

Not Coal. Not PUR

How do we know this.

Re-entry did not occur until the 10th.

So all the on-site Management and Consultants, Mines Inspectors, Dr Cliff, Mr Watkinson from SIMTARS, Mr Muller at SIMTARS etc all looked at the immediate history of LW104 and the gas results in a days long risk assessment process.

None of these “Learned People” identified an active Spontaneous Combustion event prior to re-entry.

Neither did they in the weeks till early June it seems.

Well besides the seeming incompetence of the Ventilation Design team and gas monitoring team, it seems that Grosvenor has run into the most cunning heating in the history of coal mining world wide

As cunning as a fox what’s been Professor of Cunning at Oxford University, but has moved on an now works at UN at the International High Commission for Cunning Planning

Not one thing I have heard at the Inquiry even begins to explain this.

Even were I too be convinced about Spontaneous Combustion is the “Professor of Cunning Heating” you would be led to believe, are you even looking in most likely spot!

The ventilation arrangement and the inherent flaws suggest otherwise
