Inspector Marlborough “In LW 9 Nth noticed that the ventilation station at the outbye end of the Maingate travel road was situated in the centre of an area where stonedust “Bat Bags” were installed. I suggested that the Ventilation Officer should check the cross sectional area used on the board and whether it takes into account the presence of the Bat Bags. I also suggested that this is not the ideal place for the location of a ventilation station.”
