Qld Coal Level 1 Emergency Exercise Annual Report For 2021 Still Not Published.

Qld Coal Level 1 Emergency Exercise Annual Report for 2021 still not published.

RSHQ has still not published the 2021 Report on the Annual UG Coal Level 1 Emergency Exercise.

The 2020 Report on the exercise at Moranbah North was published in April 2021, four (4) Months after the exercise was held in December 2021

I am told one was held in 2021, as it has been every year since 1998, and was conducted at Oaky Creek.

Rumor is that the Report will not be published till after the Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference is held on the Gold Coast between the 21st to 24 of August.

Again, if what I am told is true. the reason the Report will not be released before the Conference, is that the Emergency Exercise Report may well be embarrassing for a number of parties/people.

I have emailed the Commissioner Resource Health and Safety Kate Du Preez, Chief Inspector Peter Newman and Minister Stewart for comment about why the Report has not been published.

As usual, no reply except the odd delivery and read receipt.
