Dear Mr Vaccaneo,

Thank you for your email.

The matters you have raised with me relate to events at coal mines, which are subject to the operation of the provisions of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999.

Accordingly, I do not consider it is appropriate for me to provide you with the information you have requested directly, and outside other channels available to members of the public.  This includes government publications and access under the Right to Information Act 2009.

RSHQ regularly publishes safety information relating to Queensland coal mines. You can find details at  https://www.rshq.qld.gov.au/safety-notices

Regards,

Mark Stone

There is a separate issue going back to the 3rd March about whether a Methane HPI had occurred on the Maingate of the Longwall.

The question is what are the Mineworkers at Grosvenor and the rest of the Underground Mines being told about events at Grosvenor since the RSHQ allowed Longwall operations to recommence in LW1o4A

I will post the emails I have sent about this issue next.
