Correspondence With Chief Inspector Coal Mines And RSHQ (Mines Safety And Health) Coal Mine Explosion Research Project 1990

Correspondence with Chief Inspector Coal Mines and RSHQ (Mines Safety and Health) Coal Mine Explosion Research Project 1990

I sent Chief Inspector Peter Newman the following email on the 10th January with a read receipt that I never received a reply to.
I sent a further 3 emails to CIOCM Newman with copies of the Ministerial Report to aid in a document search also with read receipt requests attached. Again no read receipt ever received.
I specifically asked
In the interests of full disclosure could you or the relevant officer formally direct a full search of all Mines Department records from that time.
When CIOCM Newman had not replied by Tuesday the 12th I was forced to contact the Department via the general Department email address. RSHQ.Corro@rshq.qld.gov.au
After sending another email on Wednesday the 13th I received a reply stating that my email had been received and passed on to an unnamed relevant area, who will respond in due course.
I have since sent a further 2 emails to the General Enquiries asking in the first on the 14th
I would ask that you provide me with a response as soon as possible.
I am happy to receive a reply stating when I will receive a final response
Can you reply by close of business today, so I know who I am dealing with and have a direct email contact address?
The last 2 emails to RSHQ.Corro@rshq.qld.gov.au now do not generate either a response or a read receipt.
As well the Department have blocked my ability on to make comment on the Department Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/MiningQld
I have also been blocked from sending them a non public message via Messenger on their Facebook page.
The Communications Black Hole at the Mines Department continues.
Why is every person and organization refusing to be able to help with anything?
Look like I will have to make an attempt to book a meeting with Mark Stone the CEO of Resources Safety and Health Qld, then make a special trip to Brisbane City and the Department to get someone to talk to me.

Peter;

I am letting you know that following the expiry of the 30 year Cabinet in Confidence on January 1 this year, I am in possession of said study and report.

Coal Mines Explosion Research Report 1990

The Cabinet Minute 00544 16th July 1990 is attached.

I shall forward in two separate emails the Ministerial Report.

As you may or may not be aware, I have previously made Inquiries of both the Mines Department and Simtars about whether either held a copy of the Report. The replies I received in 2020 stated that both cannot locate said Report.

I am also in possession of a copy of the Original Report and am working my way through a comparison of the 2 documents.

I shall forward these as well as I complete the analysis Chapter by Chapter.

Alternatively you may look at them in the meantime at

In the interests of full disclosure could you or the relevant officer formally direct a full search of all Mines Department records from that time.

Yours In Safety
